HOW IT WORKS

The best way to manipulate an animal is through feeding.

Oom Gielie’s tick prevention is done via a poisonous dip which is transferred / applied while the animal is feeding.

Simple and most EFFECTIVE!!!!

Why Oom Gielie’s dip applicator and not other dip application methods?

Oom Gielie’s dip applicators are height adjustable and most species can be dipped according to size (Dip is not wasted on Jackal, Warthogs etc).

The animal is attracted by the feed in the dish. It does not experience any anxiety by being guided and forced through a narrow entrance.

Various sizes are available and providing enough dishes are placed correctly, all animals will be adequately dipped, with dominant ones not over-dipped.

Dishes can be used as salt bins and thus Oom Gielie’s dip applicator will remain effective even when feed is plentiful.

Weight of the dishes have been designed necessitating two persons only for moving and installation of large dishes (1.4m x 1.4m) and one person for the smaller dishes (900mm x 900mm).

An industrial high quality undercoat is applied, with a final coat to ensure a longer lasting paint life.

The ergonomic design limits poisonous liquid evaporating from the pan. Each pan is fitted with a “pour out” point to prevent wastage.
